No. Not my house. Which is what needs to be done. But I'm going to spiff up a few things around the old blog today. I've got some computer work to do anyway (fliers for church activities) so I'll try to multitask. Since it's still too wet to do much laundry. My poor septic tank doesn't take kindly to all the flooding.

I've been *so* wanting a custom blog look, and was just not very successful in doing it myself. I emailed the only blog template designer that I knew several weeks ago, but never heard back from her. So I was pretty much resigned to having the same old blog.
And then with the Bloggy Giveaway, I saw a few blog designers that I'd never seen before. Most were beautiful, but not my "style" (whatever that is).
And then I found Revka, over at RS Designs. I ♥ her stuff. She's sweet, gracious, prompt and GOOD! Not to mention affordable! She has made this a very positive experience.
I simply can't recommend her enough.

I carved out a few minutes today to update my "Blogs I Enjoy" sidebar. I've deleted a very few and added several. I don't think anyone that I deleted reads here, but if you do I hope you're not offended. It's nothing more than a time issue and I'll still be checking in from time to time.
I also added a "Links" listing. Some pretty cool stuff there, so check it out if you're so inclined.

Around these parts I'm actually considered pretty computer literate. Look around the blog people. And still, I tell you it's true.
So I'd helped out a friend who needed some computer help. Stop laughing. I really did.
I got an email from her that said, "You....Rock!".
Which I showed to my husband. Feeling awfully puffed up and proud.
He sat looking at the email for a minute and then turned to me all serious like and said, "Why did she call you a rock?"
I couldn't make this stuff up.
Also I wanted to point out that today is my one year blogoversary. Yes, that's right. Exactly one year ago today I put up my first "test" post. I've accomplished exactly what I started out to do here. Meeting like minded, Christian women. I'm so grateful for each of you that reads here.
